R R TOMAR'S Cold Storages, also known as Walk in Cold Rooms, are enclosed spaces that are protected from the elements outside, where the ideal air is produced with the aid of the room's cooling equipment in an effort to maintain the products' freshness and increase shelf life.
The primary purpose of using R R TOMAR'S cold storage or a cold room is to keep products fresh for a longer period of time, just as they were when they were first produced, without causing external appearance to deteriorate or spoil.
Different temperature ranges are used to preserve or store products depending on their intended use and the product that will be preserved.
One of the most typical temperature ranges for cold storages is -5°C to +8°C. This temperature range, which is generally referred to as a chiller room, is between +2°C and +8°C. The critical temperature level is established and determined based on the type of product that will be kept in the cold rooms.
Chiller Rooms manufactured by R R TOMAR'S are for use with a variety of product types. Fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh meat and poultry products, fresh milk and dairy products, fresh fish and sea foods, bakery, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals are all preserved in the chiller room.
R R TOMAR'S Cold Storage Room can also be customized as Frozen Storage (-18°C TO -25°C) and Blast Freezing Storage (-35°C / -40°C)
